There was once a woman who was broken and convinced, she would never love again, much less marry. And there was a man who never thought he would find someone who loved him for exactly who he was.

Then, one random Tuesday, she went online thinking maybe she would find a date for the weekend. Ironically, he was online that same night while having dinner alone.

They met later that week in a cute little downtown area, Carrollton Square. They shared a light snack, drinks, and conversation that flowed easily.

Before the night ended, they took a few extra minutes to walk around the gazebo, where they shared their first kiss.

As the days passed, they continued spending time together as their schedules and hearts allowed, giving each other space to simply be. No expectations of perfection. No pretending. Just two people showing up authentically and unapologetically as themselves, scars and all.

She was rough around the edges, guarded, and not quick to trust. But he was persistent, nonetheless. Somehow, he broke down her walls, brick by brick, and saw her for who she truly was.

He himself was not optimistic that he would find a partner to share life with either, much less one who could love him quirks and all.

And now, here they are, better together and better in life because they trusted God and the story He was writing just for them.

Together, they took a huge leap of faith. They chose to surrender to God’s plan, grounded in love, trust, support, and grace.

Neither of them knew that what started as a simple online conversation would not lead to just another date, but to a date for life.

You see, God never meant for these two to walk through life alone. Finally, after all these years, they were shown grace. Something real. They found everlasting love, trust, and respect in each other.

Their plan is simple: to grow old together, to love each other even when it is hard, and to continue choosing one another each and every day while embracing God’s plan and growing in love and light together.
